For the first time, the Rain Garden Initiative is offering rain garden plant kits during the spring of 2009. A total of 32 plants come with the kit, including such favorites as Blue Flag Iris, New England Aster, Blazing Star, Blue Lobelia, Cardinal Flower, and more! Plants are in 2.5" x 3" pots with labels and will cover approximately 100 square feet. The cost of the kit is $65.00.

All orders must be prepaid and received by April 1, 2009. Pickup will be on May 8th, 2009 from 9am - 5:30pm at the Lucas Soil and Water Conservation District office (130-A W. Dudley St., Maumee, OH 43537).
