Help us build a local Master Rain Gardener Program!
The Toledo-Lucas County Rain Garden Initiative (RGI) has been committed for 15 years to providing outreach and education on rain gardens and stormwater pollution prevention in Northwest Ohio. To expand this important work, we have reached out to the Washtenaw County Water Resources Commissioner’s Office, developers of the Master Rain Gardener training program. This regionally successful training program helped Washtenaw County residents build over 1,000 rain gardens and we are looking for partners to help us bring it here!

Bringing the class here in 2022 will cost about $7500 - after the start-up expenses, the program will be sustained through educational programs offered by RGI partners and others who attend the train-the-trainer event. There are multiple levels of support including benefits for the sponsor:

- Bronze ($100-$249) Sponsors will be listed on all train-the-trainer outreach and training materials
- Silver ($250-$499) Sponsors can include their logo on all train-the-trainer outreach and training materials
- Gold ($500 and above) Includes the Bronze and Silver benefits and a sponsor spotlight on RGI social media!
